Rally Legend Nicky Grist Announced as Special Guest for Rallye Prescott 2026
Rallye Prescott organisers are delighted to announce that former World Rally Championship co-driver Nicky Grist will be the special guest at this year's Rallye Prescott, taking place at Prescott Speed Hill Climb on Saturday 7th November 2026.
Best known for his legendary partnership with 1995 World Rally Champion Colin McRae, and previously with four-time World Champion Juha Kankkunen, Grist has enjoyed a remarkable career at the very highest level of the sport, competing alongside some of rallying's biggest names and becoming one of the most respected figures in international rallying.
As part of his visit to Prescott, Grist will be the Guest of Honour at the Friday Evening Rally Forum, where fans will have the opportunity to hear first-hand stories from his career, including insights into his World Rally Championship successes, life alongside Colin McRae, and the evolution of the sport over the past four decades.
Joining him on stage will be three-time British Rally Champion Matt Edwards, one of Britain's most successful modern rally drivers. Together, Grist and Edwards will share stories from their careers, discuss the highlights and challenges of top-level competition, and take part in a special audience Q&A session.
The Rally Forum promises to be a fascinating and entertaining evening for rally enthusiasts, providing a rare chance to hear from one of the sport's most celebrated personalities in an intimate setting.
Tickets for the Rally Forum are expected to be in high demand, with fans encouraged to secure their places early.
Adding further excitement to the weekend, Grist will also bring his iconic ex Toyota Team Europe Toyota Celica GT-Four ST185 to Rallye Prescott. The famous machine will take to the hill throughout the event and will be driven by both Nicky Grist and three-time British Rally Champion Matt Edwards, giving spectators the chance to witness a true rally car legend in action.
Rallye Prescott has established itself as one of the UK's premier celebrations of rallying, bringing together legendary drivers, iconic cars and thousands of fans for a unique festival atmosphere at the historic Prescott Speed Hill Climb venue.
Event organisers are encouraging rally fans to make a full weekend of it by attending both the Friday evening Rally Forum and the main Rallye Prescott event on Saturday.
