Mini @ Prescott is taking place on Saturday 16th August. An event exclusively for Minis and Mini derivatives!
Following our event for Minis in 2022, they’re back in full force! Come along and look out for the 1968/69 BHC winning Mini and Nicky Porter’s famous hill climb Mini as they take to Prescott’s technical Hill in August.
But why are Minis so cool?! The original Mini was revolutionary on a number of fronts. One that is often forgotten is the unique rubber springs used on the car. The combination of conical rubber springs and small wheels was one of the many innovative developments which allowed designer Alec Issigonis to achieve the Mini’s small overall size! And another fact about Alec Issigonis… he is also well known for building the ‘Light Weight Special’, which is a historic hill climb car that competed at Prescott in 1938.
