What a (very literally) warm welcome we had at the weekend! Thank you to the thousands of people who came down to support our first event of the season, the Opening Round of the British and Midland Hill Climb Championships.
Will Hall #3 had a seriously strong start to his season of the BHC, being the fastest driver after Practice on Saturday and went on to win in the first Run Off on Sunday, while Matt Ryder #1 took back honors, winning the second Run Off in the afternoon. Wallace Menzies #4 doubled up the placing and came second in both rounds, missing out by a split second… it’s that close! Sean Gould and Alex Summers both only one second off the top three in joint fourth and followed by Trevor Willis. Clearly the fight for the 2025 Champion will be close and it’s early days, anything could happen! We are already looking forward to having these astounding cars and determined drivers back at Prescott for the penultimate round in September, don’t miss it. You can easily follow the Championship with HillClimb.TV who achieved a record number of views over the weekend with 43k views, and this figure is still increasing!
