The 2024 Number 1, Matt Ryder is still in contention to retain the coveted "Number One and can mathematically win the Championship for a second time on Sunday. Looking to put a stop to this is four time champion, Wallace Menzies whose run of four championships was put to a stop last year by Ryder. Still in with a chance is the Number Three, Will Hall, who has a championship best of second place back in 2018, fifth in 2023 and running the Number Three from his efforts in 2024, can Hall match is best or go one better to take the Number One away from Matt Ryder?

Two run-offs on Sunday has the chance to seal the deal for Matt but there is only once place to see the action and that is here in person at the Prescott Speed Hill Climb.

WEATHER UPDATE

ree

A positive mix of weather this weekend, but perhaps the wrong way around! With sunnier conditions predicted for the practice day on Saturday, the points scoring day on Sunday looks to show a bit more cloud but crucially still dry conditions for the championship run offs.

THE FULL ENTRY

Take a look at the full entry list for this weekend, 185 cars are set to take to the hill with class A (i) for standard road going cars all the way to Class L for the fastest bespoke machinery, come and see how accessible Hill Climbing is! Also joining in the fun is the BOC'S own FASSI Classic Speed Championship who are set for their eighth round of the championship. With cars both road going and racing no newer than Pre-1991, the more classically minded individual will be plenty catered for!

FORMULA STUDENT SHOWCASE

Joining us over the weekend and in collaboration with our neighbors, The Bugatti Trust, a selection of Universities and their students are displaying their Formula Student creations over the weekend with an active parade in the Saturday lunch break. Formula Student is Europe's most established educational engineering competition and celebrated its 25th anniversary in 2023, tasking teams to design, build and race a single-seater race car.

The project usually forms part of a degree-level project and is viewed by the motorsport industry as the standard for engineering graduates to meet, transitioning them from university to the workplace. The Formula Student teams will be located on the Bugatti Terrace, go and check them out!

DAKTOA FLYOVER

Also on Saturday, we will be visited by a very special guest. The Battle of Britain Memorial Flight at approximately 15:00 will be gracing the skies above Prescott with the sights and sounds of a C-47 Dakota, known as the workhorse of the war having served in every theatre the Dakotas were critical to the logistical operations of the second world war. Fingers crossed for good weather and listen out for tannoy announcements during the day as we receive updates on the expected flyover time.
