The inaugural Rally Car Speed Championship played host to a wonderful selection of both rally and rally-inspired cars. This eight round championship played host to four home Prescott rounds, and four away rounds.

Similar to our other championships, the Rally Car Championship season kicked off at Loton Park, just the single entrant of Rob Jones took to the deer park and as such took home maximum points.

The second round was scheduled for Harewood, unfortunately no competitors entered the event so it was swiftly onto the first Prescot round of the season. Four drivers took to the hill at our Motorsport Festival, Bugatti Owners' Club Members and spectators alike getting their first proper look at some of the cars involved in the championship. Taking his second win of the season would be Rob Jones in a MK2 Ford Escort, closely followed by Thomas Twemlow in a Subaru Impreza.

Returning to Prescott for round 4, our annual Members Meeting with a fantastic six cars on display, though once again it would be Rob Jones to take his third win of the season, second this time going to Kevin Knight in the Talbot Sunbeam Lotus. Scoring his first points of the season was Roger Taylor coming in third place with his MK2 Ford Escort.

Another away day for the Championship, to Gurston Down did four competitors go, bringing a stop to Jones' charge was Paul Morcom, in a little Morris Mini that beat out the competition to take the full amount of points. The Rally Car Championship competitors also got to try their hand at sprinting, the Curborough sprint course is a favourite of many, and is a staple on the calendar for the other two Bugatti Owners' Club championships. Again four took to the "flat hill", in a mixture of rain and sun Kevin Knight prevailed to take his one and only win of the season, ahead of Roger Taylor then Rob Jones.

Back to Prescott for the penultimate round. The Season Finale plays host to the final round of many championships, including both the FASSI Classic and New Barn Cars MOT Championships, however our "rally lot" still had an extra round to go, before that Rob Jones had an opportunity to secure the championship before the final round, he was in luck too. His closest rival Kevin Knight was not present due to other commitments and a gentle fourth place finish would be enough to secure the championship, history made by Rob Jones.

The final event of the year is a special one, taking place at the famous Rallye Prescott event, our Rally Championship drivers get a chance to mix in with names from the world of stage and circuit rallying. This unique half daylight, half darkness event brought in some of the largest crowds of the year and amongst the bustling paddock and camera flashes at Pardon, Stuart Baker in his Morris Mini would be the star of the field, having only entered into the final round might this be a sign of what's to come in 2026 for Baker.
