Rallye Prescott
The following day, on Saturday 1st November, Prescott Hill will come alive with the sound of rally cars. Our capacity entry will take to the Hill to complete 3 daylight runs, followed by 3 runs in darkness, with the fastest time in daylight and darkness combined to create the overall winner. The entry list includes R5s, WRC’s, Group A and Group B rally cars, ensuring the spectacle of rallying through the ages is truly represented. We'll also see a wide variety of non-rally based cars too. It is truly an event not to be missed.
Awards will be presented to cars both with a current Motorsport UK Rally Log Book and those without, the variety of cars is off the charts.
The Local Veterans
Prescott is privileged to have its own group of very dedicated competitors, often known as "ringers" these track specific specialists have ran more runs up the hill than you can dream of. Who to look out for? First would be our very own Prescott Driving School Chief Instructor! Tim Cross heads our in house driving school, having coached every day people, amateurs and professionals alike, Tim knows this place inside out. Another to highlight is one of our directors, Edmund Burgess holds the Bugatti Record on our hill. 51.85 seconds in a Type 51 broke a record that stood for 18 years. Now competing in the Midland Hill Climb Championship in a Gould GR55, Edmund looks set to put his skills to the test in a Caterham R500. Finally a dark horse out there to watch out for is Mark Linforth, in a well turned Ford Escort he won his class at last years event.

The National Competitors
Rallye Prescott attracts the best competition, and that is back up by no fewer than 17 competitors from either the British or Midland Hill Climb Championships. From reigning championship duo Roger and Scott Moran in their Skoda R5, sibling duo Tom and Lizzie Weaver in a Citroen Saxo to normal Formula Ford driver Max Hawkes, who turns to an Alfa Romeo 145 for this years Rallye Prescott. A wealth of experience and skill taking to the hill, expect to see some electrifying driving from these contenders even if not their usual cars.
Bugatti Owners' Club Rally Car Speed Championship
The event will also be the final round of the inaugural Rally Car Speed Championship. Over the course of the year and seven rounds, our Rally Car contenders have battled for supremacy. Coming into the eight and final round, Rob Jones has already secured the title, however the run to the line for best of the rest is anyone's game!
This championship is specifically designed for rally cars competing in speed events and is already proving a popular addition to the Bugatti Owners Club’s stable of championships on offer and we look forward to watching this championship conclude its first year on home turf at our premier event.

SLOWLY SIDEWAYS
2025 once again sees the welcome return of Slowly Sideways to Rallye Prescott. If you have been before you know the type of cars that will be on show! An impressive array of spectacular cars to be displayed, expect to see spectacular cars such as Ford Escorts, Mitsubishi Evos, Metro 6R4’s and even a Lada! Slowly Sideways will be taking to the Hill and you can get close and personal with them in the paddock.

THE STAR CARS
We have three big cars, the best way to celebrate 30 years of that famous championship win is to showcase three iconic cars.
Metro 6R4
Welcoming the Metro 6R4, although not a car used in WRC competition, this particular 6R4 was Colin's own. Used for a number of special one offs, course course for recces and even as a course opener. A car very special to Colins heart will be driven by Ian Barkaway, who recommissioned the 6R4 in 2020 and since has displayed the car for public to see. We are very fortunate to see this very unique Metro 6R4 at Prescott this year.
Ford Focus WRC
This particular Ford Focus was campaigned by McRae in 2001 and this particular chassis took the win at the Acropolis Rally in Greece but later suffered a less fortunate state when it was crashed on SS4 in at the Rally GB in Wales. Since restored it's owner Steve Benton will without a doubt "lovingly" thrash the Focus up the Prescott Hill.
Subaru Impreza WRC
Perhaps the finest car of the day, the 1997 Subaru Impreza may not have been able to take the championship win like in 95, however this 97 evolution of the championship car still took 5 wins in the season. The car will be driven by both owner-competitor Martyn Spurrells and Jimmy McRae for demonstration runs throughout the day.
What a fantastic line up!
