We are pleased to announce that Mike Pilbeam will be joining us at Prescott Speed Hill Climb on the weekend of 7th/8th September as part of the British & Midland Hill Climb Championships weekend to celebrate the 50th Anniversary of Pilbeam Racing in Hill Climbing.
Pilbeam cars held the British Hill Climb Championship for 18 of 20 years from 1977 to 1997 and we are looking forward to welcoming some of these iconic cars back to Prescott Hill over the weekend. Over the years many well-known drivers have driven Pilbeam cars, such as Andy Priaulx, Martin Bolsover, Martyn Griffiths, Roy Lane , David Grace and Roger Moran and we are looking forward to celebrating these wonderful cars and drivers which have given much success to Pilbeam over many years.
Additionally, Saturday evening will see Prescott Clubhouse host An Informal Evening with Mike Pilbeam where he will share stories of his time in hill climbing followed by a short question and answer session. We hope to welcome many people to this free event which will be held in the early evening on Saturday 7th September.
