CATERING CO-ORDINATOR
The Bugatti Owners’ Club, owners and operators of Prescott Speed Hill Climb, are one of the oldest and most prestigious car clubs in the country. The BOC specialises in running hill climb competition events and welcomes thousands of car and bike enthusiasts to their hill, based near Cheltenham, each year.
The role of Catering Co-ordinator is to work as part of a small team to provide support for the General Manager with a specific focus on providing hospitality and catering during events. The successful applicant will deal with all catering aspects of events from inception to birth, such as handling venue hire enquiries for our function room, liaising with catering providers to ensure client requirements are attained, providing front of house support during events and booking and overseeing external catering units.
As part of this role, the Catering Co-ordinator will be required to manage the bar in The Clubhouse, including stock control, staffing, personally working behind the bar and also hold a personal alcohol license, for which training will be provided, if necessary.
In addition to this, the Catering Co-ordinator will also be required to assist the General Manager with development of this aspect of the Club to grow and improve bookings of The Clubhouse.
This role is best suited to an individual who is ambitious, forward thinking, innovative and pro-active in their approach to work. Weekend and anti-social hours working will be required for events where the successful candidate will be required to multi-task and problem solve.
An interest in motorsport is desirable, but not a requirement, with efficiency, good organisational skills and a proven track record in administration essential. A background in hospitality and catering is a requirement.
This role is full time (40 hours per week, with hours flexible to meet event requirements) based at Prescott Hill Climb near Cheltenham with a competitive salary and holiday package.
