As with all venue operators and event organisers, The Bugatti Owners’ Club has received detailed communication from Motorsport UK with regards to the restart of motorsport following the Covid-19 Pandemic.
We are now working with our in-house experts and sub-committees to review these documents in anticipation of hill climbing potentially recommencing at Prescott from July onwards.
Competition will only recommence if we believe we can do so in strict compliance with government and Motorsport UK guidelines, and this will take a little while to establish before a full and detailed statement can be made and hopefully an announcement of a revised calendar for the second half of this year.
However, all competitors, marshals, officials and spectators should be aware that when motorsport restarts at Prescott there will have to be significant format changes in order to comply with social distancing requirements. The safety and well-being of all visitors to Prescott is of utmost importance to the Club and we are now working to ensure we can implement new systems of working in order to deliver safe and socially distance compliant events.
In the meantime, as ever, we thank all Club Members, Competitors, Marshals, Officials and Supporters for their ongoing support for the BOC and our wonderful venue.
