Storm Amy did try her best to spoil play on Saturday, so much so that anger was taken out on the letter "A" from our start line gantry, relentless as the storm was we carried on for our Season Finale!
In damp and windy conditions cars took to the hill. A fantastic variety on show with a selection of single marque championships complemented the Bugatti Owners' Club Championship, all three of which were present at the event.
The On Track Action

Crowd favorites, the 500 Owners Association, showcased a dozen models of the old F3 500cc capacity single seaters. The class being won by Frazer Deane in a Cooper Mk9 F3 posting a 52.62. Also of the cooper variety are the over 500's. Often twin engines in the same chassis can occasionally be quicker on the hills, Saturday was not the case, the sub class being won by Charles Reynolds in a Cooper Mk.X, a time of 56.18
A potential sneak look into the future, Roger Moran showcased a very aggressive looking Mitsubishi Evo. Word is a potential campaign for the British Tin Top Championship is on the cards for the 1997 British Hill Climb Champion.

Also looking at a potential class change, Graham Wynn. A recent but now regular face in the hill climbing paddocks, put on debut a brand new machine. A once Force TA becomes the Force GRW Sports. Slotting into the Sports Libre categories we expect this driver-car combination to be extremely competitive in 2026.

The Bugatti Owners' Club Championships
It was the final round for two of the Bugatti Owners' Club Championships, the New Barn Cars MOT Speed Championship had a three way battle heading into the round.
The FASSI Classic Speed Championship's battle for the crown was made much easier for leader David Fripp when title rival Stephen Akers elected to enter into another championship for the event.

The Rally Car Speed Championship had its penultimate round of the season, Rob Jones had a commanding lead heading into the event and similar to FASSI, his nearest title rival was not present on the entry list for the event.
Our championship winners will be formally announced once all the championship standings are declared final.
