PRE-SEASON TEST DAY - EVENT REPORT

Our first day of hill action for 2026 went by in a blur, a fantastic mix of single seaters, Bugatti's, road going specials and an accompany amount of untimed road going cars were enjoyed by both those taking to the hill and those spectating alike.

Test Day is a key event for the team here at the Bugatti Owners' Club and it was great to have everyone back on the Hill in full force. We hope that testing was a success for all!

Although this was a 'non competitive' event, and "it's only testing" echoes from that of Formula One fans, it was Will Hall in the number 3, setting the only sub 40 second runs, his fastest a 39.18. The runners up spaces going to Alex Summers in the brand new DJ Wildfire that set the fastest run with a strong time of 40.28. The Wildfire will soon be travelling over to America with driver Kyriacos Panayiotou. The third fastest driver was a pleased Jason Tunnicliffe in an Empire Evo 3, his time just shy of Alex with a 40.31.

It was also great to see drivers from our New Barn and FASSI Championships shaking down their cars, preparing for the first round of the Championships coming up next weekend at Loton Park. A number of new faces across the paddock and what could have been mistaken as a new car for Daniel Carroll, the MG B Roadster underwent an extensive restoration over the winter period, appearing in vibrant red accompanied with a double white stripe drivers side.

The day also welcomed a small selection of untimed, non-competitive runners, who took the opportunity to drive the famous Prescott Speed Hill Climb with passengers along for the ride!
