Following months of enforced closure due the global Covid-19 Pandemic we are delighted to announce the BOC Competition Calendar for the remainder of 2020.
BOC Council Members have been working closely with volunteer Senior Officials behind the scenes to develop robust and practical solutions to overcome the considerable additional complications created by running events whilst complying with government social distancing requirements.
Following the successful delivery of a number of training events over recent weeks we are pleased to report the Club is now in a position to be able to deliver high quality, compliant events for competitors.
We have also taken the decision to restrict entries to BOC Championship Contenders and BOC Members. This is due to the number of entries we will be able to accept for each event being greatly reduced, by 50%, to a maximum of 75 cars. The considerations leading to this decision are that we won’t be able to run as many cars on the hill simultaneously, we will be operating with a reduced number of marshals on post and we are anticipating delays in lining cars up on the start.
All events will be one day closed to Club Hill Climbs, with no provision for overnight camping onsite and all run behind closed doors with no spectators.
All events will count towards both the New Barn and Hennys Championships, with the revised competition calendar now as follows

4th October
Competitors will be contacted shortly by email and requested to log into the new online Event Entry Portal, through our website, in order to check car and championship registration details are up to date. All entries received to date for all events will be cancelled (due to the revised format of the meetings) and a credit balance will show on competitors accounts, which can be used against new entries for each meeting. If you have previously entered an event on any of the above listed dates you must re-enter one entries open.
Once we have received the updated permits from Motorsport UK we will contact all competitors to advise the date and time that entries are opening. Entries will then be allocated on a first come first served basis.
