Venue Information: Welcome

WHAT IS SPECIAL ABOUT PRESCOTT?

Prescott Speed Hill Climb is one of the world's most prestigious motor racing venues. Set in 69 acres of glorious Cotswold countryside, near Cheltenham, Gloucestershire, the estate not only provides a beautiful setting for a range of classic car and bike weekends, but also hosts major motor racing championships.   Our History gives details of how Prescott Speed Hill Climb came about.

The track is 1127 yards long and rises over 200 feet on a techically challenging course incorporating short straights, fast and slow corners and a breathtaking hairpin. The fastest modern racing cars completing the course in under 36 seconds.

WHAT FACILITIES ARE THERE?

The Club welcomes everyone who has an interest in motor sport to experience what Prescott has to offer.

Viewing the action: The paddock is always buzzing with activity and is accessible to spectators as part of their entrance ticket. The paddock is where all the preparation and post hill-run activities occur. You can get to see, meet and and talk to drivers, teams and check out the cars and bikes. WHAT LIMITED MOBILITY FACILITIES ARE THERE?

The Club welcomes all who have an interest in motor sport, and is particularly anxious that those with limited mobility should also enjoy our events. While there are the obvious inherent limitations imposed by a hill climb venue, we do have regular visitors with varying degrees of mobility, particularly wheelchair users.

Access: A dedicated parking area for limited mobility drivers or passengers is available just inside our main entrance, with easy paved access into the paddock. Anyone who has particular issues, or is attending alone, is welcome to ring the Club office for advice before an event.

Toilet facilities: Adapted toilets are available in our restaurant and adjacent to the Club Office in the Paddock.

Viewing the action:  Access is available throughout the main lower paddock, the upper paddock areas do involve a steep incline and may be inaccessible without assistance. The best viewing area is adjacent to the start line where there is a wooden deck, with adjacent kiosk serving drinks and light snacks.
